Interested in making Prevost Hall a multi-use community center? Our vision is to create a unique space in the historic church building for lectures, music, plays, community meetings, exercise classes, activities for seniors and after school programs for kids.
The town is planning two phases of construction:

Phase I (2025): shore up the building and allow it to be reopened for limited events.

Phase II: restore the top two layers of the bell tower and replace the old roof on the main building, install modern insulation, lighting, and other features.
CPOG is assisting with getting grants for the town effort and has already obtained $200,000 in grants for the project from Senator Hinchey's office to complete the re-leading of the stained glass windows and to start the major renovation process.
